Dr. Wade Fuqua, PhD, LPC-S, LMFT-S is Director of Compliance for Chenal Family Therapy, PLC. From Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Fuqua earned his Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He holds licenses as a professional counselor and marriage and family therapist, with supervisory credentials in both disciplines.

Joining Chenal Family Therapy in 2018, Dr. Fuqua played a pivotal role in expanding Medicaid services and has since assumed responsibility for the oversight of the compliance program. His areas of expertise include documentation, ethics and investigations, compliant processes, HIPAA compliance, security risk assessment, health and safety standards, and clinical services. Additionally, he directs the continuing education initiatives, ensuring CFT maintains its status as an NBCC ACEP.

Beyond his administrative duties, Dr. Fuqua offers coaching services covering all aspects of mental healthcare compliance, ethics, and documentation. With expertise as a CARF surveyor, he also provides invaluable guidance to organizations pursuing or undergoing CARF accreditation.

Dr. Fuqua's influence extends to various insurance advisory committees in Arkansas, where he contributes his insights. He also teaches graduate-level courses on Ethics and other subjects. 

Outside of his professional commitments, Dr. Fuqua enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is an avid runner, enjoys traveling, and still finds time to geek out on compliance topics in his free time.
